About Us

My name is Ed Millward, I attended North East Wales Institute of Higher Education where I obtained BSC hons First Class Degree in Architectural Design Technology in 2006.

Since graduating I have worked for the Architects Design Group and Burke Rickhards both in Plymouth, where I have worked on such schemes as the 2012 Olympics Villages, International Design Competitions and other landmark buildings across the South West.

After being made redundant in 2009, I began to notice that there was a gap in the market for my skills as a designer/problem solver/3D specialist. So I decided to go in to business for myself.

As I work from home and do not have to worry about the overheads, like larger companies, I am able to offer a flexible, organic service and drawings at a fixed price.

I offer a standard fee-structure for small projects and always try to stick to that fee.  Once the build has been submitted to building control then I only charge an hourly rate for any client-side changes, but not for compliance within regulations.

Each standard design set includes a measured survey, sketches, Planning Application submission, Working Drawings Package suitable for Building Control and Your Builder to construct.  All drawings are produced in A3 or A4 formats for ease of copying.

As a company, we also offer measured surveys at a fraction of the price Architects would charge!

Fees are payable in 3 phases on all projects: At inception (a mobilization fee), Planning submission and Building Regulations submission.
